Sour RDA Vape in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a RDA for sour
Sour in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A sour RDA from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour RDA really costs in Bristol
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.84 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.84 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
