Plum box mod Vape in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plum in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.5 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.5 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
