The short version: plum in Bristol works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.14 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
