Home / Licorice box mod Vape in Bristol: the flat shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit

Licorice in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.46 per 10 ml.

If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a licorice box mod really costs in Bristol

The honest read on licorice: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

How we tested licorice in a box mod

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
• Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.

Where licorice goes wrong

• Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
• Treating the advertised £39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.46 per 10 ml.
