Licorice box mod Vape in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Licorice in Bristol: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
We run licorice the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on licorice: 11 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice box mod really costs in Bristol
Licorice in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
